We took Jed to Northcote Aquatic Centre this weekend for his first swim and full immersion in water (sounds like a baptism or something doesn't it?). We set off quite early in the morn as the pool can get very noisy with the sound of squealing kiddies. (early on, you just have the old nonas doing their hydrotherapy and the occasional freak who wakes at 7am on a Sunday morning).
Jed loved it. We popped him on a kick board and he kicked his little chubby legs about the pool. He was a little confused about getting dunked though. He didn't cry but had this very shocked look on his face. Good little man. I think we're going to be frequent visitors of the pool - lots of fun!!
